Guillermo Isidro Ares Medina is the Director of Litigation at Pou & Velázquez. He graduated from the Catholic University of Santo Domingo in 1997. His professional practice began as a lawyer at the firm Cesar de Castro Guerra y Asociados, practicing with some of the most prominent lawyers of the time. He has completed diplomas in the subjects of alternative dispute resolution, corporate law, among others.

 

In addition to serving as a lawyer, Mr. Ares worked in the General Directorate of National Assets as Director of Titling until 2020.

 

In 2015, he joined the Pou & Velázquez firm as a senior lawyer, practicing the areas of litigation, corporate law, commercial law, intellectual property and alternative dispute resolution.
